About IIC: The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Ezhuthachan College of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and startup culture among students and faculty. History: Ezhuthachan College of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in 2003 under the Ezhuthachan National Academy with a commitment to providing quality pharmaceutical education and fostering research-oriented learning. YIP 8.0 (Young Innovators Programme 8.0) is the 2025 edition of the Young Innovators Programme conducted by the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC). It is one of Kerala's largest innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives for students and young innovators.
YIP 8.0 Highlights
Ezhuthachan College of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in 2003 under the Ezhuthachan National Academy and is one of the pioneer pharmacy institutions in Kerala. The college focuses on pharmaceutical education, research, industrial exposure, and ethical scientific practices. Institutional Animal Ethics Committee was established in the year 2006.
Establishment and Registration: The Animal House Facility was developed to support pharmacology and preclinical research activities. It functions as a Small Animal Facility approved by the Committee for Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CCSEA), Government of India.
